Stripped and ready for repair
Upon strip down we found various problems. After removing the engine the owner asked us to tidy the engine bay which led to the discovery of severe corrosion of the chassis and some poor repairs. the car was stripped and sent away for blasting which revealed previous accident damage and further poor repairs and much more corrosion. Approximately 50% of the chassis and 70% of the body skins were replaced with hand made panels in house using an English wheel.
This flawless paintwork was all done in-house by our very own time served painter. The customer has gone back to the original rare factory colour. Rosso Rubino. The framework has been painted satin black as it would have been from the factory.
